About The Role:
The Business Development Executive will be joining a dynamic team passionate about cutting-edge technology. The successful applicant will work closely with customers across technical industries to grow and promote the sale of our suppliers’ products, including drones, sensors, cameras, and LiDAR solutions.

They will develop an excellent rapport with existing customers, be knowledgeable about competing products, and explain technical terminology to non-technical clients. The role involves managing the entire sales process, from sourcing new customers and scoping requirements to providing tailored solutions, determining quotes, and ensuring successful delivery through relevant departments. This is a hybrid role with in-person client demos throughout Canada, so an interest and ability to travel is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation and development of sales opportunities within technical B2B industries
  • Consult and advise customers from diverse backgrounds, including drone supplier providers and industry professionals to showcase the proper solution.
  • Engage in industry events, conferences, and workshops to foster relationships and generate new leads.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.  
  • Provide professional, solution-based quotes and proposals throughout the sales cycle.
  • Perform routine follow-up calls to existing leads within our CRM to maintain engagement and finalize agreements.
  • Identify upsell and growth opportunities; collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure growth targets are met.
  • Provide accurate CRM forecasts (weekly and monthly)
  • Respond to and actively seek Requests for Quotes (RFQs) or Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • consistently achieve or exceed agreed monthly sales targets and timelines.
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of products, services, and competitors.
  • Stay aware of industry trends that will assist in emerging technology.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Business, Engineering, or related disciplines is considered an asset.
  • Experience flying enterprise drones or a background in UAVs is highly preferred 
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in a technical industry (e.g., hardware, software, engineering, industrial, or similar) is highly preferred.

Compensation package:
  • Competitive salary: $75,000 - $85,000
